As a child growing up, music surrounds us; what type of stuff did you hear the most back then?
My mom is a huge Jay-Z fan so i listened to alot of Jay and Mary J Blidge, The
Fuggees also. I also was surrounded by Bachata, Salsa, and Merengue due to that being apart of my culture you know.
What artist(s) currently making music are you listening to? And If you could collaborate on a Album/Mixtape with one who would it be?
i listen to alot of local cats that i rap with like Killington, and local producers. Steve Cool, Axel Roger. I’m a big fan of Chuck Inglish he’s one of my favorite producers it’d be cool to collab with him. umm i honestly just like whatevers appealing to my ear.
If you had the opportunity to change something about the music industry, what would it be?
Better radio Dj’s who actually make an effort to play something thats not on there required playlist, but whats being demanded by the people.
Your video for “Pedestal” is real dope. How did the idea/concept for it come about?
that video was made spontaneously during a session we were having. My homegirl Elissa is
nice with the cam so she basically directed it, me and my boy isaias were high ass fuck eating junk food and running around. it was all one take haha
How many blueberry muffins do you think you could eat in an hour?
none lol fuck muffins
As an artist, how would you define success?
Success is what you make it. The day my name is in a history book is the day i’ll feel as if i truly succeeded.
